সেলিম আল দীন এবং আব্দুল্লাহ আল মামুন, পর পর এই দুই নক্ষত্র এর পতন বাংলাদেশের সাংস্কৃতিক অঙ্গন গভীরভাবে শোকাহত।

Professor Yunus will be profiled in a book with particular reference
to Biomimicry, which will also include the other top thought leaders,
being published by The University of Cambridge Programme for Industry,
the release said.

The book will present the ideas and works of the world’s top thought
leaders. Dr Wayne Visser, a senior associate and former research
director of CPI will conduct interview with the Top 50 leaders and
write the book.

Views of the top 50 leaders will also be included on the book,
including what led to it being written, what its most important
messages are for advancing the sustainability agenda, and how it has
shaped their subsequent work and thinking.

Hey ppl…. ভাষাশহীদদের শ্রদ্ধা জানানোয় মাদ্রাসা ছাত্রীকে বেত্রাঘাত ?

আনতর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবসে ভাষাশহীদদের শ্রদ্ধা জানানোর জন্য শহীদ মিনারে ফুল দিতে গিয়ে কুমিল্লর নাঙ্গলকোট উপজেলার বক্সগন্‌জ ইসলামিয়া সিনিয়রমাদ্রাসার এক ছাত্রী বেত্রাঘ তের শিকার হয়েছে !!!! ওই মাদ্রাসার অফিস সহকারী মো: গিয়াসউদ্দিন তাকে বেত্রাঘাত করেন ।
এ ঘটনায় ওই ছাত্রী নাঙ্গলকোট উপজেলা নির্বাহী র্কমর্কতার ( ইউএনও ) কাছে অফিস সহকারীর বিরুদ্ধে লিখিত অভিযোগ করেছে । তবে গিয়াস দাবি করেন, বন্ধের দিন মাদ্রাসা এলাকায় আসায় তিনি ঐ ছাত্রীকে কয়েক ঘা বেত্রাঘাত করেন ।
জানা গেছে মাদ্রাসাছাত্রী মাইমুনা আক্তারের বাড়ি নোয়খালীর সেনবাগ উপজেলার ডমুরুয়া ইউনিয়নের মইশাই গ্রামে । সে পাশের নাঙ্গলকোট উপজেলার বক্সগন্‌জ ইসলামিয়া সিনিয়র মাদ্রাসার নবম শ্রেনীর ছাত্রী ।
মাইমুনা জানায়, ফুল দিয়ে ভাষাশহীদদের শ্রদ্ধা জানানোর জন্য একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারী সকাল আটটায় সে চাচাতো বোন নারগিস সহ কয়েকজন সহপাঠীদের সাথে বক্সগন্‌জ উচ্চবিদ্যালয় ও ইসলামিয়া সিনিয়র মাদ্রাসার মাঝে অবস্থিত শহীদ মিনারে যায় । এ সময় গিয়াস তাদের ডেকে তাদের ঐ এলাকায় আসার কারন জানতে চান । তারা কিছু বুঝে উঠার আগেই পিয়নের মাধ্যমে অফিস থেকে বেত এনে অন্যান্য ছাত্রীদের সামনে তাকে পেটাতে পেটাতে চারটি বেত ভেঙে ফেলেন ।
মাইমুনার বাবা মমিনুল হক বলেন, গিয়াসের প্রচন্ড মারে তার মেয়ের জ্বর আসে । তিনি বলেন, ’ ভাষার লাই ( জন্য ) যারা জীবন দিছে তাদের ব্যাকে ( সবাই ) সম্মান দেয়ান ( দেখানো ) উচিত । কিন্তু  আমার মাইয়া তাদের সন্মান দিতো যাই আইজ মাইর খাই আইছে । আই এর বিচার চাই । ’
মাদ্রাসার অধ্যক্ষ মো: সামছুল হক বলেন, ’ শহীদ মিনারে ফুল দেয়ার কারনে মাইমুনাকে মেরে অফিস সহকারী অবশ্যই অন্যায় করেছেন । আমি আজ ( শনিবার ) পরিচালনা কমিটির সদস্যদের ডেকে বিষয়টি জানিয়েছি । তাদের নিয়েই যা করার করব ।
গিয়াস দাবি করেন, ছুটির দিনে ঐখানে যাওয়ার কারন বলতে না পারার কারনে সে মাইমুনাকে কয়েক ঘা বেত্রাঘাত করেন ।
