International Achievement of BUET
03/02/2008 03:03:23 / full of life International Achievement of BUET Now the world is seeing the huge development in the sector of Science. Bangladesh is also improving in that sector that proved again the Team of the students of Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology. They achieved “ Outstanding Educational Impact Award “ among the well known Universities of America , Europe in International Future Energy Challenge 2007 by IEE ( Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers ) . At first BUET took part in 2001 & placed in semi-final. In 2003 & 2005 BUET successfully took part & achieved Honorable Sentence by IFEC. But this year’s achievement crossed the past. BUET successfully took park in FINAL. With Bangladesh, there were 6 more countries America ( 2 ), Germany, China, Brazil & Australia. The Team of Bangladesh worked hard & got “ Outstanding Educational Impact Award “ which is USD 2500. [ NOTE : There were no 1st, 2nd or 3rd position ] . The main Topic of the challenge was to create Universal Adapting Battery Charger that can charge any rechargeable Battery. & Bangladesh successfully got their position. The Team of Bangladesh is formed by the students of BUET. The team is ADVISED by DR. Kazi Mujibur Rahman [ Dept. of Electronics ].
