Can a boy and a girl be friends ?

I personally think they can.. i have a lot of guy mates. But i know there are a lot of people who disagrees.


Sometimes when i talk to a guy, and i'm just friendly just like i would
be if it was a girl, i have them either thinking they have a chance
with me and start hitting on me, and some few guys just stop talking to
me.. i think in my head.. "do u think i'm hitting on u, i'm just being
friendly!"


I don't understand why some people assume that a boy and a girl cannot
be friends.. i have lots of guy mates, but there are those few who seem
to think there is more in it..


What are ur views?

Yep they can be friends, i have alot of female friends and i dont see them any other way other than a sister figure
